Make this Christmas extra special by enjoying a private 30-minute bird flying experience exclusive to you and your family/group. These sessions have been especially designed for families, couples, or small groups to experience the thrill of flying birds of prey and owls together. For just £60 for up to 4 people (you can add extra people for £10 per person up to a maximum of 6), you and your family/group will fly a kestrel, an owl and a hawk or buzzard (our Family/Small Group Experience).
You will start by meeting one of our friendly falconers who will provide you with a glove to wear, and will explain how the birds will fly and land. You will learn all about these amazing birds in a relaxed and enjoyable way as they fly from person to person. We do not book anyone else on with you; this is a private experience just for you and your group.
This experience is suitable for adults and children aged 8+.

I have paid online, how long does it take to receive the booking confirmation?
We will email the confirmation to you within 2 days of us receiving your payment. If you do not receive the confirmation, please check your junk/spam folder before contacting us.
How many participants are in a group?
You can have up to four people flying the birds for £60.00. You may add extra participants for £10.00 each up to a maximum of six people. This experience is exclusive to you and your group; we do not book anyone else on with you.
Is this Experience suitable for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility?
Yes, the Family/Small Group Experience is suitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Those with limited mobility/difficulty walking may request a chair to sit on during the flying and handling of the birds. To ensure you get the most enjoyment out of your experience, please let us know when booking if you will be using a wheelchair or if you will require seating in the arena. Can we take photographs?
Participants on our Experiences are welcome to bring their own camera to take photographs during their time with us.
Can other people come and watch / take photographs?
Anyone wishing to attend to watch the experience without participating can just pay our Visitor Admission charge on the day. Please be aware that visitors are not permitted to enter the flying arena. Any children coming as visitors to watch an experience must also be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
What happens if the weather is bad on the date of my experience?
We will run the experiences in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
What happens if we can no longer attend on the date we have booked, e.g. due to illness?
