On 14th November, Storm Claudia caused extensive damage to our off-show/breeding aviaries; a large tree fell, destroying three aviaries, severely damaging two others, and damaging our bird hospital. Thankfully, all of our birds are safe and well, but at this time of year we do not have the income to fund the repairs – as a charity and an outdoor attraction, we use the money we raise over the summer to keep the birds fed and healthy over the quieter winter months. We simply do not have the revenue to fund the full cost of the repairs ourselves, and we would be grateful for any donation, large or small, to help us fund these vital repairs.
