Whooo’s ready for a Halloween Hoot?
Our popular Halloween Owl Display is back for 2026, with two dates to choose from! Join us on either Friday 30th or Saturday 31st October for a one hour display of owls flying at a time of day when they would be active in the wild.
Enter the visitor centre from 4pm to have a look around and see all the birds in on show aviaries, before taking your seat in our new undercover area for 4:30pm, ready for the owl flying display. Enjoy the spectacle of owls in free flight and at close quarters, as you learn all about these fascinating birds from our expert falconers.
Tickets cost just £10 per adult and £6 for children aged 5+.
Spaces are strictly limited so book your tickets online using the forms below to reserve your place. This display is suitable for adults and children aged 5+. It is not recommended for children aged 4 and under. There will be lighting and music used at times. The display will take place in an enclosed, sheltered area in close proximity to the birds.
Gift Aid: As we are a registered charity, if you are a UK taxpayer (e.g. employed and paid through PAYE or self-employed and self-assessed), you can tick “yes” to this question. This allows us to claim an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you have spent on your ticket, and it does not cost you anything extra.

I have just paid online; how long does it take to get my confirmation?
Bookings are manually processed upon our receipt of your payment confirmation, and will be sent out by email. Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery. If you have not received your email confirmation, please check your junk mail/spam folder before contacting us.
Is this display suitable for children?
The display is suitable for children age 5+. It is not recommended for children aged 4 and under. The display takes place in an enclosed, undercover area and may include lighting and music at times.
What if the weather is bad on the day or during the event?
We will go ahead with the display in most weather conditions as it will be taking place in an undercover area, but you should be aware that the rest of our visitor centre is entirely outdoors when looking around the aviaries. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather, with waterproofs if necessary. We will only consider cancelling the event in extremely high winds or torrential downpours/amber or red weather warnings. We will contact ticket holders to discuss their options in the event that we decide to cancel the display.
